Powerful Presentations
Presenting with a Bang!
So many professions require you to address audiences whether large or small, yet so many find it so difficult to do.
Part 3 of this program allows you to develop effective delivery skills.
You will learn how to use powerful action words, your body and voice strategically to deliver your presentation with a bang!
You will practise and deliver two presentations in front of your peers. Your peers and the facilitator will provide feedback on your presentation delivery. Your presentations will be video taped and you will be provided with the tapes.
You will demonstrate how to:
- Prepare yourself for the talk/speech
- Stay calm, relaxed and focused
- Use words your voice and body strategically
- Flow smoothly from the opening, to the body and then to the close
- Use appropriate stories, humour, quotes, questions, props and audio visual aids
- Open with a WOW! Hold attention and close with a BANG!
- Field and answer questions
- Deal with difficult audience
